Lal Bahadur Shastri was a great freedom fighter for India. After Nehru, he became the second prime minister of India. He was the ruler of India when Pakistan invaded India in 1965. Standing barely 5'3" above the ground, Lal Bahadur Shastri had a difficult job in hand. He had to pump some confidence into a country which was still mourning the defeat in the war of 1962 with China and move it  to the war ahead. Shastri did both these ably. He led the country well into the war. At last UN intervened. Lal Bahadur Shastri died mysteriously in Tashkand (USSR) where the post war negotiations were taking place between India and Pakistan.

Lal Bahadur Shastri was a perfect example of selfless duty to the nation.

There's a unique feature about this sketch. I have drawn it Left Handed. Yes. U heard right. Left. This is the only picture I have drawn that way. Someday I hope to continue this tradition with other pictures, too.
