 It was the day of 31st December 1995. '95 was like a turning point in my
life. The first half of the year was the worst part of my life, and the second
half, the best part. I completed my graduation at the end of first half and took
admission for post graduation. I was parallelly attending a course in computers.
There I met some of the very interesting people ever. At the time it happened, I
was very frustrated with life and carrier. Formation of this group gave me a new
life. It was a total metamorphosis for me. I re-started sketching. This is the
first picture I sketched on the 31st December of 1995. We named our gang as
"The Beautiful World of Wonderful People". I made this greeting for
the group. It contains caricatures of all the members of the group, complete
with their unique features and gestures. In the party that followed, myself and
my friends Preetam and Mayuresh, presented each member attending the party a
greeting, each one made by one of us, completely personalized for that person.
This picture may not have a very high aesthetic value, but it certainly has a
very high emotional value for me. And I am sure all the members of the
"Beautiful World of Wonderful People" will heartily agree. |
