Florence is a beautiful town very near to Pisa.
Florece was one of the richest and most powerful cities in the 14th century Italy. They started constructing a
cathedral as a symbol of its power and zest. The whole cathedral is built in red, white and green marble.
The dome raises 350 feet into the air, with a diameter of 125 feet. To reach the top of the dome, one has to climb
upto 450 steps! The cathedral is the fourth largest in the world, after
St. Peter's in Vatican, Rome, St Paul's in London and the cathedral of Milan.
