Louvre Museum


Louvre is undoubtly the world's largest arts museum. Millions of dollers of worth pieces of arts are kept in this museum. Some of the world famous paintings like Mona Lisa and statues like Venus de Milo are a part of the art tresure of Louvre, which is stores in 198 rooms around the museum. Louvre was the Royal Palace of France for centruries, till the French Revolution. Then is was converted to the museum it is today. Every ruler of France went adding features to the palace. And the last one to do so was President Fancois Mitterand, who added the glass pyramid in the exterior of Louvre.
