On the last day of our stay, I and Aparna went Paragliding. It was decided and happened so unexpectedly that it still
feels like a dream even today. Paragliding is a highly weather dependent sport and weather on that day was ever changing.
So it was not fixed till the last moment. But then the weather turned better and we decided to go.
The instructors took us to the top of a mountain near Interlaken. We alighted the car near a village called Beatenburgh.
Then we walked some distance thru the clouds!! Literally! Because the whole mountain top was engulfed with clouds and we
were walking thru them. Soon we reached the jumping slope and waited for the weather to get cleared.
We didn't have to wait long. Within 10 minutes, the sky was clear and we were given green signal to fly. I jumped first,
Aparna following me after a few seconds. Soon we were flying over Interlaken. We flew for about 20 minutes. It was one
of the most wonderful experiences of my life.
