River Rafting

River Rafting is one of the most exciting (and dangerous) sports in the world. Many people are always eager to taste the exhilaration that comes with floating on the wild waves. We were no exception.

We did rafting on the same evening of the day when we went to Trummelbach Falls. It was quite cloudy and it seemed rain would start any minute. We reached the rafting spot in Interlaken sometime around 4:30 pm. There were around 40 people present for the event. Out of these more than half were Korians. Myself and Aparna were the only 2 Indians present.

We started rafting in the cold Glacier waters of Black Luchin river, which merges with White Luchin at some distance, where the water was too wild. There both rivers merge to form River Luchin, which goes on to merge with a big lake.

The water rafting was too good an experience to be true! We had a lot of exciting (not to say anxious) moments. But in the end it was one of the most memorable day of our lives.
