 Kusumagraj (V. V.
Shirwadkar) was a gifted Marathi poet and author. He has
touched and experimented with all the aspects of Marathi literature. Be it story
telling, poetry or play writing, Kusumagraj was the best in each one of them. He
never had to create controversies to be in lime light. His talent was enough for
it. Marathi literature will always be proud of his enormous contribution to it.
